What personal information CodersRegion collects through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Last updated: October 27, 2026
1. Who we are
Coders Region (“CodersRegion,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a remote-first software engineering company providing AI, Salesforce and custom software services. This policy explains what personal information we collect through codersregion.com, how we use it and the choices you have. For any privacy question, email support@codersregion.com.
2. Information we collect
We only collect what you choose to send us, plus the minimum technical data needed to run and protect the website:
- Contact form: your first and last name, email address, phone number (optional) and your message.
- Job applications: your name, email address, the role you are applying for, a profile or portfolio link (optional), your CV and any message you include.
- Live chat: the messages you send and any name or email address you give, along with basic technical details such as your browser and approximate location, processed by our chat provider, tawk.to.
- Emails and calls: the information you share when you email us or book a call.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type and pages requested, recorded in server and security logs and used by Cloudflare Turnstile to keep spam out of our forms.
3. How we use your information
- To reply to your enquiry, prepare proposals and quotes, and deliver the services you engage us for.
- To review job applications and contact candidates.
- To keep the website secure, prevent spam and abuse, and fix technical problems.
- To meet legal, accounting and tax obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.
4. Legal bases (UK and EU visitors)
Under the UK GDPR and EU GDPR we rely on: steps taken at your request before entering a contract (answering an enquiry or quote request); performance of a contract (delivering services); legitimate interests (running and securing the website, reviewing applications you send us); consent (where we ask for it, which you can withdraw at any time); and legal obligation (keeping business records).
5. Cookies
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the website, such as which pages are viewed and which buttons are clicked. It sets cookies that identify your browser, not you; we have turned off Google signals and advertising features, and we do not use advertising cookies. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The live chat widget only loads after you interact with the page and may then set cookies to keep your conversation going between pages. Cloudflare Turnstile may set a strictly necessary cookie to tell people from bots.
6. Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers that help us run our business, under their own privacy and security commitments:
- Namecheap (website hosting and email)
- Microsoft 365 (email)
- tawk.to (live chat)
- Cloudflare (form spam protection)
- Google (website analytics)
We may also disclose information when required by law, or to protect our rights, our clients or the public.
7. International transfers
We work with clients and providers around the world, so your information may be processed outside your country, including in the United States and Pakistan. Where the law requires it, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
8. How long we keep it
- Enquiries and client correspondence: for as long as needed to respond and deliver services, and generally no longer than two years after our last contact, unless we must keep records longer for legal or accounting reasons.
- Job applications: up to 12 months, so we can consider you for future roles, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. CV files are sent straight to our HR inbox and are removed from the website server once delivered.
- Security logs: a limited period, usually no more than 90 days.
9. How we protect it
The website is served over HTTPS, access to our systems is restricted to the people who need it, and we follow the same security practices we apply to client Salesforce and software projects. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will act quickly if a problem occurs.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, including the UK, the EU and US states such as California, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict how we use it, to receive a copy of it, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, email support@codersregion.com. We will reply within one month.
If you are in the UK you can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk); in the EU, to your local data protection authority.
11. Data we process for our clients
When we build or support systems for a client, such as their Salesforce org, we process the data in those systems on the client’s behalf and under our agreement with them. Questions about that data should go to the organization that controls it.
12. Children
This website is intended for businesses and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their information.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed.
